Having worked at another IP firm previously, I always knew that Carpmaels & Ransford was renowned as one of the best firms to work for in the industry, so I was keen to see what it was like for myself.

Even when I walked through the doors for my interview I was welcomed by friendly faces and that’s very much still the case around the office today.

There is a real sense of community spirit at Carpmaels & Ransford. Although the firm continues to grow, the firm is inclusive of all groups and teams across the business. There are a wide range of social activities that you can get involved in from book club to bee club, and there are always sporting events and challenges on the calendar. The Carpmaels bunch love a good challenge.

In my current position as Marketing Manager I provide marketing support and resources to fee earners as well as managing in-house projects for practice groups across the business.

I love the variety of my role and my experience covers all areas of the marketing mix with a particular focus on external and internal communications, branding, digital strategy, process improvement and design.

Carpmaels & Ransford has always been extremely supportive in helping me to achieve my career development goals. I joined the firm back in 2016 as a Marketing Executive and have had the opportunity to apply the theoretical marketing principles from my degree and build on my practical experience. As my role has developed, I now have more of a strategic focus and completing my CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing has allowed me to build on my marketing knowledge. I was able to study alongside work throughout this time and my manager was very supportive throughout the process.

The best thing about Carpmaels is the people. That hasn’t changed since joining the firm 4 years ago! At a team level, we are hardworking and really care about what we do, but we also care about one another and collaborate as a team to complete a project or tasks. There is also a great work-life balance at Carpmaels & Ransford. They are a forward-thinking firm and always have their employee’s best interests at the heart of the business.
