Carpmaels in conversation: Ep.3 – Xeros, a start-up success story

World Intellectual Property Day, takes place each year on 26th April. The day celebrates the role of intellectual property in encouraging innovation and creativity globally.

The theme of 2021’s World IP Day is “IP & SMEs – taking your idea to market” and we are delighted to be joined on our new podcast, Carpmaels in Conversation, by Gordon Ellis, Global Intellectual Property Director at Xeros Technology Group, a company focused on sustainable solutions for laundry and apparel manufacturing which began life as a spin out from the University of Leeds now operates globally.

Gordon joins Lara Elder and Bruce Cockerton to discuss the journey Xeros has been on so far and the contribution this technology is making to some of the key concerns facing our environment including water shortage and microfiber pollution.
